Marian Servants of Hope

An emerging community for Catholic women, seeking canonical erection as a private association in the Archdiocese of Vancouver

Who We Are

“We have this Hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters….. …where Jesus, a forerunner on our behalf, has gone.” (Hebrews 6:19-20).

We are an emerging community for women, faithful to the magesterium of the Catholic Church, seeking to fulfill the steps required by Canon Law to be granted juridic personality as a Private Association in the Archdiocese of Vancouver, with the aim of becoming a Public Association, under the guidance and authority of His Grace, Archbishop J Michael Miller, CSB.

As stated in the following Canons: “It is for the competent ecclesiastical authority alone to erect associations of the Christian faithful. (C.301.1-2) and “No private association of the Christian faithful is recognized in the Church unless competent authority reviews its statutes.”( C.299.3)

We desire to live a communal life rooted in the Gospel, centered on Christ in daily Eucharist, in communal and personal prayer and contemplation as visible witnesses of Faith, HOPE and Charity, as servants to the local Church with a particular commitment to the Deaf community. Faith, Hope and Charity seek to live in truth, justice and mercy, the fruit of which is Peace; as women of Hope we will strive to develop lives of peace and to be bringers of Peace. In harmony with, “The Christian faithful are at liberty freely to found and direct associations for purposes of charity or piety or for promotion of the Christian vocation in the world…”( C. 215).
